After more than three decades in the fashion industry, Robin, the founder of State of Cotton NYC set out on a personal mission: to recreate the perfect cotton sweater. Frustrated by itchy wool and synthetic blends, and inspired by a 20-year-old cotton favorite she couldn’t replace, she decided to create her own. Drawing on her deep experience and trusted industry relationships, she spent two years researching the best materials and refining fits—ultimately building a collection that redefines cotton knitwear.

She showed a perfectly edited collection- I loved the restraint! I really respect when a designer takes one simple product and makes it absolutely perfect.
