Growing up around her parents’ iconic Boston boutique, Alan Bilzerian, exposed her early on to an exceptional mix of designers, craftsmanship, and personal style, while time spent between the U.S. and Europe helped shape her distinctive point of view. After beginning her own collection in the early 2000s, Lana continued to refine an approach to knitwear that feels deeply personal, expressive, and timeless.Today, she draws on decades of experience to create pieces that celebrate individuality while maintaining an effortless sense of luxury.

DESIGNER Q&A

In a few words, how would you describe your brand’s signature style?

The purpose of my brand is to make knitwear feel modern and fun. To bring a sense of play to your style while at the same time working with beautiful yarns and craftmanship. Creating a garment that can work with anything in your closet…that extra piece that you always grab!

Why do you believe fashion is a powerful form of art or storytelling?

For me fashion can be a tool we use to express how we feel in a certain time in our lives. It represents our journey and how we have decided to connect with the world around us at that point in time. We all have decades of personal growth, struggles, and adventure. The way we decide to dress can often times represent where we are in our lives and how we want to be seen. It is part of our story.
