THE BRAND
BETTY & GEORGE
Betty & George was born from Lauren Parrish’s search for the perfect sweater—beautiful cashmere with the soul and ease of something vintage, luxurious without ever feeling too precious. Named after her grandparents, the brand carries a sense of nostalgia, heritage, and personal connection at its core. The collection is defined by modern ease, quietly cool silhouettes, and elevated pieces designed to be layered, lived in, and made your own. With a focus on exceptional knitwear and effortless versatility, Betty & George creates timeless pieces that feel both familiar and distinctly modern.
BETTY & GEORGE
DESIGNER Q&A
What made you start Betty & George?
"Honestly, I was looking for a sweater I couldn’t find. After spending most of my career building brands and making clothes, I knew exactly what I wanted: incredible cashmere with the soul and ease of something vintage. Something luxurious, but not precious. Something you could wear constantly and make completely your own. I realized I didn’t want to keep looking for it. I wanted to make it...Betty & George grew from there." - LAUREN PARISH
