the brand

Alessandra Petersen

Alessandra Petersen is a conscious fashion label blending modern silhouettes with 5,000 years of Peruvian textile tradition. Rooted in cultural preservation and sustainability, the brand collaborates with artisan communities across the Andes to handcraft each piece using natural materials like baby alpaca, organic cotton, and plant-based dyes. By reviving ancestral techniques such as hand knitting and natural dyeing, the brand not only sustains the environment but also uplifts generations of craftsmanship.

Drawing inspiration from art, architecture, cinema, and memory, Alessandra Petersen’s collections are known for their feminine softness, sculptural form, and textural depth. Each piece is designed to feel personal, powerful, and timeless—offering a wardrobe where heritage and innovation meet. Far more than a fashion label, Alessandra Petersen is a cultural project—a sensorial, narrative-driven exploration of identity, place, and tradition.

SARAH SAYS...

"I always find that the knit wear that comes from Peru has a beautiful quality and fair price. What really sets Alessandra’s pieces apart is that she adds so much Fashion to her hand knit collection. And ...really easy to wear fashion!  I am personally already looking forward to Fall to wear her fabulous fringe jackets!"
