Meet the designer

Ranjana Khan

Born into a culture where jewelry is a daily ritual, Ranjana Khan brings decades of couture craftsmanship to every piece she creates. Before launching her namesake brand in 2008, Ranjana helmed Phoenix Hand Embroidery, working with the likes of Alexander McQueen, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Valentino—artistry that shaped her singular design perspective.

With an expert eye for texture, form, and storytelling, Ranjana creates jewelry that defies convention. Drawing from years of global travel, couture technique, and a deep love for ornamentation, she invites wearers into a world that’s bold, expressive, and unmistakably her own.

the brand

ranjana khan

Ranjana Khan jewelry is designed to stand out. Every pair of earrings is a sculptural mix of softness and structure—feathers and pearls, beetle wings and crystals, vintage beads and semi-precious stones—all assembled by hand in New York City.

The brand embraces upcycled and rare materials, often sourced from Ranjana’s travels or vintage inventory. Each style tells a story—and some are produced in limited quantities depending on what treasures are found. Lightweight yet full of movement, the pieces are made for women who see jewelry as self-expression, not an afterthought.

Beyond jewelry, RK has expanded into custom home furnishings, partnering with top interior designers to bring her rich embroidery expertise into living spaces. Whether adorning ears or interiors, Ranjana Khan continues to weave beauty, history, and craftsmanship into everything she touches.

Sarah Says...

"Ranjana is the reigning queen of the statement earring. Many brands have been inspired by her but no one compares. The whimsy, drama, passion and FUN of her work can absolutely make an outfit. I can go on vacation and pack in black and white only... as long as I have 3 pairs of earrings I won’t get bored of myself!"
